In view of the widespread prevalence of poverty in most communities in Nigeria, CCI leverages on partnership with domestic and international professional bodies to be able to cover as many communities as possible on healthcare support to the vulnerable in the society. Maternal mortality is the single most important health issue facing Nigeria women, especially poor women from the rural areas. CCI provides reproductive health services such as medical care, safe delivery, delivery and treatment as well as prevention of sexually transmitted diseases. Since inception
CCI has intervened in the plight of victims of the dreaded Vesico Vaginal Fistula (VVF) ravishing the northern part of the country especially in Yobe State.
More than 200 cases of men and women were supported for treatment in various ailments till date. Health seminars were held between 2011 till date in conjunction with other NGOs, CCI has carried out enlightenment campaigns and free treatment in the areas of: Malaria eradication, prevention and treatment and polio vaccines administration, drug abuse awareness. CCI through collaboration with medical bodies and specialists has carried out free medical eye treatments in some rural communities in FCT and in Borno State
